I am so pleased to come on here this morning and see a date has been fixed for our night OUT!
Mark will just have come home from Brussels so I shall make sure he brings a crate of KRUG (great idea Jean!)
I suggest either a salsa club in London or another club, but one not owned by Peter...
Love, A

I agree, I think Stringfellows is a bit too upmarket for our forum xmas party, after all we want to be able to let our hair down! I'm having pink and gold extensions on mine.

now Amanda remember not to kick your leg too high it may put your hip out again I too think Stringfellows is a bit upper class for our Christmas gig Salsa club sounds ideal I have just had gold eyelashes put in (in made my eyes water a bit) but looks FAB (sophie told me that in the new in word) sounds cool or what? glad we are not going near water again Jean really embarrassed herself last time trying to get that young police man to give her the kiss of life it wouldent of been so bad but there was only 1ins of water been on Doreen roof at night time trying to see her new outfit but sadly couldent see a thing see you all at 7 I am so looking forward to it Mary L

Dear Mary,
Well, I've been doing very high leg kicks (just in my lounge)..only feel over twice. I am also copying the boy's karate kicks/moves as they're very agile (not as agile as me though, they have alot to learn).
Gosh, I do hope there won't be any water around...that sounds a ghastly story.
But, if Jean insists on water etc, well, we have the faithful FIRE MEN! and they have absolutely HUGE, STRONG.......................hoses.
(Tssssk, what did you think I was going to say?)

'Helmets', Amanda? No matter how many firemen or even life-guards ( well perhaps if we could get a few we might be safe) must Jean be allowed near water! She seems to be drawn to it and it was so embarrassing when she tried to do the butterfly in the one inch left in the fountains inTrafalger Square. Kathleen had sucked up the rest of the water for our water pistols which we need to fend off any unwanted suiters (for the fire men!).
I've been juggling with apples and riding my mini-bike as I may need them for our night out. Have already put in an order for a bag of apples and pears just in case we need them.
Where do you buy skin-toned wrinkle filler? My friend was asking.

I've got my sequinned boob tube ready and my leopard skin skirt. Won't copy the halo idea though as mine keeps slipping - don't know why. Just highligting my purple leg blotches and should be ready then. Julian thinks I've been practicing the dance routine but I told him I'm just walking like that due to the glittery thong!
Are you all nearly ready girls?

Me too, Doreen, that`s an old trick. I`m wearing my new glittery tartan eye make-up, with a very eye-catching pair of sequinned trousers, and a very interesting top.............................

OOH Kathleen, I am wearing a white (backless) sequined mini dress, white boots with fur and a white halo....very Christmas-angel don't you agree?
Sorry, Eleanor I couldn't answer the question re skin-coloured polyfilla as it will be many many years (if ever) until I need that...but don't be shy again here, no need for that, we all share everything....
Julie, well done for tricking Julian, you don't want him seeing our special dance...honestly Mark keeps asking me what I am doing, he thinks I want to join in the boy's karate class and has even suggested he puts my name down after Christmas, eeeek........

Trust you to want to be first there Mary I've got mistletoe on my halo. I've also got a motorised tin tray now so the snow will not stop me.

Mary! You will be thrilled to know that I intend to 'borrow' Santa's sleigh and sledge from the local garden centre. There are a couple of nice reindeers grazing in their barn who will, I am sure, be up to the job of pulling (which is more than you'll be able to do! - who said that?) us in the sleigh through London avoiding Trafalger Square and its fountains of course! Perish the thought that our Jean could get near the water again!!!! In acknowledgement of the season, and because I will also be borrowing it, I will wear a red jacket and trousers with black boots and a beard. To this end, I haven't shaved all week! As for glitter, I will be spreading magic glitter everywhere I go and also may borrow the fairy's wand just for good measure.
Now what route should I take to get you all aboard and heading for our night out by seven? Will fly over your part of the country Amanda so keep an eye out (please let the children know that I am not the real Santa, repeat not the real Santa, on my way to pick up Jean and Doreen, then you before heading for Wales. Julie and Kathleen, do you want picked up?
Eleanor x
ps: What dance can be done wearing big boots????
